Guinevere Jones

In 2010, I was two years out of college, and I was convinced that being an English teacher was my destiny. When I saw the brilliance of the film ‘How to Train Your Dragon’, it transformed my writing hobby into a new life mission. I left teaching, went to film school, and I’ve been writing scripts ever since. I wrote 26 episodes for the BBC Worldwide Learning web series Phonics School, along with TV specs, pilots, and several features, and collaborated with Brandon Sanderson and Janette Rallison on screenplay adaptations for their novels.

I’ve worked as a script reader and a contest judge, and as a professional editor for ten years. I have a keen eye for pinpointing the critical elements of a story and I love helping writers sift through a multitude of ideas to find their diamonds in the rough.
